Drive-Up Testing Services for COVID-19
If you’re having symptoms like fever, coughing, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, body aches, sore throat, and chills, you may have COVID-19. The symptoms of this global virus often appear within two to 14 days of infection and range from mild to severe. We ask that you schedule a Virtual Visit first so that one of our experienced practitioners can evaluate your symptoms and then schedule a testing appointment for you. We conduct our COVID-19 tests on a drive-up basis using a nasopharyngeal swab, and it won’t take longer than a few minutes.
What happens if you have a positive test for COVID-19? The large majority of cases are mild, and you’ll want to take it easy as your body fights the infection. Stay hydrated, get lots of rest, and take over-the-counter medicine like acetaminophen as needed. You’ll also want to isolate yourself from other family members and only leave your home for essential activities, like doctor’s appointments. Once you’ve been fever-free (without the use of fever-reducing medication) for 72 hours, you’ve seen an improvement with any respiratory COVID-19 symptoms, and it’s been at least 10 days since symptom onset, you can conclude your home-based isolation period, based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Visit Us Remotely
If you aren’t feeling well, you also have the option of seeing a PhysicianOne Urgent Care provider without leaving the comfort of your own home. How? By taking advantage of our telehealth services. Telemedicine, which uses technology and mobile devices to securely connect patients with providers for real-time consultations, has added a new dimension to the field of medicine. In non-life-threatening situations, it can be a safe and highly effective way to deliver care.
Given the rapidly changing healthcare landscape, we believe it is now more important than ever for us to be easily accessible to our patients. Telemedicine allows us to expand our reach far beyond the walls of our own offices, allowing us to help patients who are unable to leave home, as well as those who would simply prefer to stay put. By staying home, you will not only help keep yourself and your family safe from the spread of germs—you can potentially save lives by minimizing your contact with others.
At PhysicianOne Urgent Care, we believe telehealth will play a huge role in the future of medicine. While our patients benefit from the associated convenience and improved health outcomes, our providers benefit from the satisfaction they gain in knowing that they are better able to help our patients. As such, telemedicine is a win-win, and a net positive for the healthcare system as a whole.

What Patients Are Saying about PhysicianOne Urgent Care in Chestnut Hill …
“★★★★★ Went in on a Sunday morning to find only a 10 minute wait – unheard of during the peak of flu season – was greeted by friendly, smiling staff and helped immediately. The facility was clean and welcoming it was a quick and easy process they sent my prescriptions right to my Pharmacy of choice. Would absolutely go back there and I would highly recommend them.” – Google Review, January 2018
“★★★★★ After being here on two separate occasions I can easily say the the check-in is quick & easy, no long waits, staff is all very attentive & friendly, the PA always knows exactly what to look for and is very informative & always gives a clear explanation/breakdown. I wish I could make this my primary care! Also helps there is free parking & it’s very conveniently located and close to home!” – Google Review, January 2018
“★★★★★ Excellent front desk/check in. Great attention to symptoms etc. given I am a nurse myself… I was very happy with the clinic.” – Google Review, January 2018
“★★★★★ My daughter’s cough had gotten much worse throughout the day on Friday, and knowing there’s no way we’d be able to get in to see her regular pediatrician on a Friday afternoon, we went to the urgent care to be seen. We got in after a short 10 min and the nurse and doctor were both very kind and great with kids. It was easy, a great experience, and we left after having been administered a quick medication. Knowing that I can take her back this weekend if needed and still be able to see the same doctor is a great relief to me too.” – Google Review, January 2018
