X-Ray Imaging Services

When you suspect you have a fracture, the last thing you want to do is wait around for an opening at your doctor’s office, or spend hours waiting in a hospital emergency room. That’s where we can help.

All of our full-service walk-in urgent care centers have on-site digital X-ray services for adults and children. All of our imaging services are handled in-house, which means you never have to travel for an X-ray, and your results are interpreted while you wait. Additionally, your X-rays are over-read by board-certified radiologists to further ensure that you have received the most accurate diagnosis and best possible treatment plan. PhysicianOne Urgent Care’s providers can diagnose orthopedic injuries and help you identify your options, whether you need a brace, cast, or surgical intervention.

Same-day x-rays for injuries

There’s no question that broken bones are extremely painful. That’s why we do everything we can to ensure you are seen and treated swiftly. At PhysicianOne Urgent Care, you won’t spend hours waiting in an emergency room, and you won’t be forced to wait in pain for days for a quick 15-minute opening at your doctor’s office. Our providers are here to review your case, examine your injury, provide a diagnosis, and stabilize your condition. In most cases, we provide you with copies of your X-ray films and direct you to follow up with an orthopedic surgeon after you leave our center.

Common reasons for an x-ray at PhyscianOne Urgent Care?

X-rays aren’t just for broken bones. We use digital imaging to check for a number of health complications, including:

  • Pneumonia
  • Joint dislocations
  • Foreign bodies
  • Kidney stones
  • Bowel obstructions and other various stomach issues
  • Congestion or fluid in the lungs

Schedule a visit at your local PhysicianOne Urgent Care location in New York, Massachusetts, or Connecticut. We also accept walk-in patients at all locations and are open 7-days a week.

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

Patient

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
