Attend a Virtual Visit for COVID-19 From Your Home in Mohegan Lake, NY

Picture of a man sitting on a couch and using a tablet.Would you be surprised to know that you can receive care for COVID-19 without having to step foot outside your house? When you turn to PhysicianOne Urgent Care, it’s a possibility. We proudly offer virtual visits for COVID-19 to patients in the Mohegan Lake, New York, area.

During a virtual visit, you’ll speak with a provider via a smartphone, tablet, or webcam-enabled computer. After learning about your condition, the provider may either prescribe a course of treatment or recommend that you come in for testing (we offer polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing, rapid antigen testing, and antibody testing). Even if you end up having to attend an in-person test, a telemedicine appointment is still a great first step, because we’ll prioritize your test once you arrive.

Common COVID-19 Symptoms

In some cases, COVID-19 can be completely asymptomatic, meaning that someone can be infected and not experience any symptoms at all. However, some of the more common COVID-19 symptoms include:

  • Coughing
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Throat soreness
  • New loss of smell or taste

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
