Take Advantage of Virtual Visits for COVID-19 in Norwalk, CT

Picture of an older man speaking to someone over a laptop computer. If you’re concerned that you might have COVID-19 but you’re hesitant to visit a brick-and-mortar location for diagnosis and treatment, you’re not alone. Many people are concerned about spreading the virus to others or exposing themselves to other germs. Others have trouble coordinating transportation to an office or arranging for childcare while they’re gone.

Luckily, if you’re in Norwalk, Connecticut, you have another option available to you. That’s because PhysicianOne Urgent Care—a trusted immediate care provider—offers virtual visits for COVID-19 to patients in this area. During a virtual visit, you’ll speak to a knowledgeable provider over a secure videoconferencing platform, using either a smartphone, a tablet, or a computer with a webcam. Depending on your symptoms, the provider may suggest that you come in for testing—we offer polymerase chain reaction (PCR), rapid antigen, and antibody testing, and we prioritize patients whom we’ve already spoken to over our telemedicine system.

What Are the Symptoms of COVID-19?

COVID-19 symptoms typically appear within two to 14 days after the time of infection, and may include:

  • Coughing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Muscle pain
  • New loss of taste or smell

It’s important to note that you can still be infected with COVID-19 without experiencing any symptoms at all.

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
