Picture of a sick woman sitting on a couch and attending a telemedicine appointment using her laptop. If you need medical care but don’t want to leave the house—perhaps you’re not feeling well enough to attend an office visit, or you’re hoping to minimize germ exposure—you can turn to PhysicianOne Urgent Care. We’ve been skillfully treating patients since 2008, and we’re pleased to offer 24/7 telemedicine services to members of the Brockton, Massachusetts, community.

What Is Telemedicine?

If you’re wondering what telehealth is, you’re not alone. Telemedicine allows patients to receive the medical care they need from the comfort of home. After connecting to a secure video-conferencing platform through a computer or mobile device, you’ll be able to speak directly to a provider, who will ask you about your medical history and symptoms, recommend a course of treatment, and answer your questions.

While telemedicine is a great option for many patients, it’s not right for everyone. If you have an illness or injury requiring hands-on testing or treatment, or if you need a vaccination or a physical examination, you’ll need to consult with a provider in person. And if you’re experiencing a life- or limb-threatening emergency, you should call 911 or get to a nearby hospital as quickly as possible.

Our Telehealth Services

There are numerous providers offering telemedicine visits, so why should you choose PhysicianOne Urgent Care? For starters, we schedule telehealth appointments on a 24/7 basis, providing patients with the convenience and flexibility they deserve. If it turns out that you require in-person testing or treatment, we can easily refer you to our nearby office. Plus, while many health insurance plans cover telemedicine visits, we also offer an affordable $130 flat rate for self-pay patients.

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

Patient

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
