Urgent Care patients will be seen as quickly as possible and prioritized over the COVID-19 patients in line.

Get Tested If You Have COVID-19 Symptoms

PhysicianOne Urgent Care offers COVID-19 testing for patients with or without symptoms. We offer PCR and Rapid (antigen) testing, as well as antibody testing. Simply walk in to be tested, or reserve your spot online for your test. You can also start your test with a Virtual Visit, meeting with one of our providers via telehealth first, and your subsequent in-center test will be expedited. Common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, loss of taste or smell, and general malaise, but these symptoms can also be attributed to the common cold and the flu. That’s why it’s a good idea to get tested to rule out COVID-19.

Here at our urgent care center, we also offer antibody testing. This test can determine whether COVID-19 virus antibodies are present in your blood, which means you had the virus at some point in the past, even if you didn’t have any symptoms. In fact, the World Health Organization estimates that up to 80% of cases are mild or asymptomatic. Getting tested for COVID-19 antibodies helps researchers learn more about the virus’s immunity and is an important first step in learning more about this virus.

Avoid Leaving the House by Taking Advantage of Our Telemedicine Services

Sometimes, even when you know that you require professional medical treatment, the thought of having to leave the house is unbearable. We can treat a wide range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries using advanced telemedicine technology, including:

We can also evaluate you for symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). Once you’ve signed up for a telehealth appointment, you can expect to meet with one of our skilled providers over our secure video conferencing platform, which you can access using your phone, tablet, or computer. He or she will ask you about your symptoms in order to evaluate your condition, then recommend a course of treatment tailored to your individual needs. You’ll also have the chance to ask any questions that may be on your mind.

In addition to being exceptionally convenient, our virtual visits are also incredibly affordable. If you have insurance, you’ll be glad to know that most carriers offer coverage for telehealth services, including Medicare and Medicaid. We also accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Spending Account (HSA) cards. And if you don’t have insurance, we have a $50 flat-rate fee per session.

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

Patient
Derby, CT

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
