Comprehensive Walk-In Care Services

At our location in Stratford, our providers can diagnose and treat a wide range of general illnesses and common injuries. Our medical experts also provide the following services in a clean, welcoming, and professional environment:

Get Tested for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The team at PhysicianOne Urgent Care is committed to protecting your health during the current coronavirus pandemic. We understand that you may be concerned about COVID-19, and we are here to help. If you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms, we can prescreen you for COVID-19 remotely via telemedicine.

We encourage you to take advantage of our telehealth services if you are experiencing fever, chills, persistent coughing, a sore throat, nasal congestion, muscle aches, and/or fatigue. Other signs of COVID-19 include headache, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and/or a new loss of taste or smell.

During your Virtual Visit, we will determine if COVID-19 testing is an appropriate next step for you. If so, you can preregister to receive a curbside nasal swab test at our urgent care center in Stratford.

Our drive-up COVID-19 testing process is typically completed within minutes. After collecting a sample of secretions from your nose and throat, your provider will explain how to self-isolate and monitor your symptoms. Then, when we receive your test results from the lab, we will promptly contact you.

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

Patient
Derby, CT

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
