Telemedicine Services When You Need Them Most in Glastonbury, CT

Telemedicine is the practice of medical providers delivering care to patients remotely, typically using a secure videoconferencing tool. At PhysicianOne Urgent Care in Glastonbury, Connecticut, we are happy to offer this service to our patients, and our Virtual Visits are available seven days per week for your convenience. Now, if you’re feeling under the weather or dealing with a painful injury, you can meet with one of our experienced medical providers from the comfort of home, limiting your exposure to others and eliminating the need to arrange care for your children or fit the appointment around your work schedule.

What We Treat

At our urgent care center, we treat most non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, and the same is true for our telemedicine services. While not appropriate in every situation (for example, if you need an X-ray or lab testing), you can schedule a Virtual Visit for most common medical conditions, including:

  • Gastrointestinal issues, including diarrhea, stomachaches, nausea, and vomiting
  • All types of cold symptoms, including sore throats, coughs, congestion, and fever
  • Minor injuries, such as sprains, strains, burns, and back pain
  • Earaches and ear infections
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Seasonal allergies and asthma
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Skin rashes, insect bites, and bee stings

During the Virtual Visit, you’ll speak to one of our medical providers using your smartphone, tablet, or webcam-enabled computer to explain your symptoms, review your medical history, and ask questions. From there, the provider will recommend appropriate next steps. And if you need to visit our urgent care center for follow-up care, you’ll be glad to know that our facility in Glastonbury is open seven days per week with extended hours.

Schedule a Virtual Visit Today

If you need telemedicine services from PhysicianOne Urgent Care, don’t hesitate to book your appointment with us today. (Most appointments can be scheduled within 15 minutes.) We’ll be glad to get you on the path to wellness!

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
