PhysicianOne Urgent Care Glastonbury

First-Class Urgent Care Center in Glastonbury

PhysicianOne Urgent Care is the local walk-in care center that Glastonbury, Connecticut, residents can count on when they need fast, expert healthcare services. We understand that when health issues arise, it’s not always on a convenient schedule. That’s when we are here for you. When other doors are closed, you’ll find that ours are open, with our experienced, compassionate medical team to provide high-quality care.

Comprehensive Walk-In Medical Care Services

For non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, PhysicianOne Urgent Care offers a full spectrum of services to meet the needs of adult and pediatric patients, including:

We take pride in working as true partners with primary care physicians, hospitals, and others in the community. Should you choose, you can be sure that we will send any new health records to your primary care provider.

Urgent Care patients will be seen as quickly as possible and prioritized over the COVID-19 patients in line.

Safe Testing for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

PhysicianOne Urgent Care offers COVID-19 testing for patients with or without symptoms. We offer PCR and Rapid (antigen) testing, as well as antibody testing. Simply walk in to be tested, or reserve your spot online for your test. You can also start your test with a Virtual Visit, meeting with one of our providers via telehealth first, and your subsequent in-center test will be expedited. Common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, loss of taste or smell, and general malaise, but these symptoms can also be attributed to the common cold and the flu. That’s why it’s a good idea to get tested to rule out COVID-19.

Here at our urgent care center, we also offer antibody testing. This test can determine whether COVID-19 virus antibodies are present in your blood, which means you had the virus at some point in the past, even if you didn’t have any symptoms. In fact, the World Health Organization estimates that up to 80% of cases are mild or asymptomatic. Getting tested for COVID-19 antibodies helps researchers learn more about the virus’s immunity and is an important first step in learning more about this virus.

Telemedicine is ideal for quick diagnoses for common medical problems, such as sore throats, coughs and colds, the flu, rashes, insect bites, urinary tract infections, sinus pain and pressure, seasonal allergies, acid reflux, and minor injuries. PhysicianOne Urgent Care can also perform a virtually COVID evaluation if you’re concerned about coronavirus (COVID-19). During this visit, we will ask lots of questions to come to a diagnosis and recommend the appropriate treatment. We can also prescribe prescriptions if needed.

Telehealth services are often covered under insurance, so check with your provider before booking an appointment if you’re unsure. We also accept FSA and HSA cards. If you do not have insurance, no worries! A Virtual Visit costs $130.

It’s simple to schedule a telemedicine visit with us. From our scheduling page, and then select “Book Now” under Connecticut Virtual Visits. You’ll be able to pick a time slot that works for your schedule, and you can often receive an appointment within 15 minutes, if not sooner.

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

Patient
Derby, CT

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
