Walk-In Care When You Need It Most
The next time you need urgent care treatment, turn to PhysicianOne Urgent Care. We know how difficult it can be to fit in a visit during normal business hours, which is why our urgent care centers are open 365 days per year — including weekends and holidays — with extended after-hours treatment options. Plus, because we provide almost all of our services on a walk-in basis, you won’t need to worry about scheduling an appointment. And, while appointments aren’t required, we also offer an online check-in system that lets you reserve your spot in line from the comfort of your own home.
Urgent Care patients will be seen as quickly as possible and prioritized over the COVID-19 patients in line.
Evaluating COVID-19 Symptoms
PhysicianOne Urgent Care offers COVID-19 testing for patients with or without symptoms. We offer PCR and Rapid (antigen) testing, as well as antibody testing. Simply walk in to be tested, or reserve your spot online for your test. You can also start your test with a Virtual Visit, meeting with one of our providers via telehealth first, and your subsequent in-center test will be expedited. Common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, loss of taste or smell, and general malaise, but these symptoms can also be attributed to the common cold and the flu. That’s why it’s a good idea to get tested to rule out COVID-19.
Here at our urgent care center, we also offer antibody testing. This test can determine whether COVID-19 virus antibodies are present in your blood, which means you had the virus at some point in the past, even if you didn’t have any symptoms. In fact, the World Health Organization estimates that up to 80% of cases are mild or asymptomatic. Getting tested for COVID-19 antibodies helps researchers learn more about the virus’s immunity and is an important first step in learning more about this virus.
24/7 Telemedicine Services
Receiving treatment at PhysicianOne Urgent Care in Manchester is easy to begin with, but for times when you don’t want to leave the house but still require prompt care, we also offer state-of-the-art telehealth services. Using a secure video conferencing platform, our experienced providers can treat a wide array of non-life-threatening illnesses (such as colds, constipation, heartburn, influenza, migraines, seasonal allergies, sinus infections, and urinary tract infections) and injuries (such as insect bites, minor burns, and rashes). We can also evaluate you for symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19).
If you’ve never attended a telemedicine appointment in the past, you may be wondering how the process works. First, you request an appointment—you can choose to be seen as soon as possible (usually within 15 minutes) or at a later scheduled time. During your virtual visit, you’ll speak with one of the caring providers on our team. He or she will ask you about your symptoms, recommend a treatment regimen, answer any questions you may have, and let you know whether you’ll need to visit an office for testing or follow-up treatment. And, if you require a prescription, we can even call that in for you.
We strive to make exceptional care available to our patients at an affordable cost, and our virtual services are no exception. Most insurance carriers—including Medicare and Medicaid—cover virtual visits, and we also accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Spending Account (HSA) cards. And for patients without insurance, we even have a $50 flat fee per session for telehealth appointments.
