STD Testing & Treatment Available on a Walk-In Basis in Enfield, CT

STD Testing Enfield CTIf you’re in need of sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing or treatment in Enfield, Connecticut, or a nearby area, you can turn to the professionals at PhysicianOne Urgent Care. We’ve been serving patients since 2008, and we’re pleased to offer urgent care STD testing and treatment at our local office.

What STDs Do We Test For?

At PhysicianOne Urgent Care, we provide prompt and reliable testing for a number of STDs, including:

  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis C
  • Herpes
  • HIV
  • Syphilis

In addition to a physical examination (and possibly a pelvic examination for females), testing may involve drawing blood, obtaining a urine sample, or collecting a sample from the affected area using a sterile cotton swab.

If your test comes back positive, you can rely on us for STD treatment, as well. Receiving an STD diagnosis can be scary, but you’ll be glad to know that almost all STDs can be treated with medication, and most can even be cured. Our knowledgeable and caring providers will recommend a course of treatment that’s specifically tailored to your needs.

Open 365 Days Per Year With Extended Hours

If you’re concerned that you might have an STD, you probably want your results as soon as possible. Unfortunately, many primary care providers require patients to make appointments weeks or even months in advance. You won’t have to worry about any of that with PhysicianOne Urgent Care, where you can get tested on a walk-in basis. Our Enfield immediate care center, which is located at 55 Hazard Avenue, is open every day of the year and you can even check in online ahead of time to further expedite your visit.

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
