It’s important to come in for flu treatment as soon as possible once you start feeling ill, since antiviral medications are most effective if taken within two days after flu symptoms appear. Even if antiviral medications aren’t appropriate for your specific condition, seeking prompt treatment can help you feel better as quickly as possible and minimize the risk of flu complications.
