What to Expect During an Urgent Care Physical

When you visit PhysicianOne Urgent Care for a physical, be sure to bring along your driver’s license, your insurance card (for future visits, if applicable), a credit card, and a copy of your child’s most recent immunization record, as well as any forms provided by your child’s school, sports team, or camp. During the visit, we will:

  • Ask you to fill out a questionnaire detailing your child’s personal and family medical histories
  • Measure your child’s height and weight
  • Record their vitals
  • Perform a physical exam
  • Answer any questions you might have

It’s important to note that the urgent care physicals we offer don’t serve as a substitute for your child’s annual physical, so you should still be sure to schedule that examination at their pediatrician’s office.

Walk-In Physicals for Our Patients’ Convenience

PhysicianOne Urgent Care has earned a reputation for delivering care when and where our patients want it, and our urgent care physicals are no exception. We offer these physicals 365 days per year at our Shelton urgent care center, and you can choose whether to book a visit online or simply walk in. And because we understand that it can be difficult to fit in a visit during the standard nine-to-five workday, we offer extended hours to make receiving a physical as convenient as possible.

Father and Daughter Having Fun

I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care.
