Brian L. Cruz, MD, MBA, MSF brings extensive emergency medicine leadership experience to his new role as Massachusetts Medical Director
CHESTNUT HILL, MA., DECEMBER 20, 2017 — PhysicianOne Urgent Care is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Brian L. Cruz, MD, MBA, MSF as its Massachusetts Medical Director. Dr. Cruz will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive delivery of services and high-quality patient care in PhysicianOne Urgent Care’s Massachusetts urgent care centers, helping patients with non-life threatening illnesses and injuries avoid the long waits and costs of the Emergency Room.
“I’m excited to join PhysicianOne Urgent Care and help local Massachusetts communities by providing access to high-quality urgent medical care in convenient walk-in settings,” said Dr. Cruz. “I was drawn to PhysicianOne Urgent Care for a number of reasons, including the stringent clinical quality and safety standards, which are supported by UCAOA Accreditation.”
Dr. Cruz is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with more than twenty years of experience working in Massachusetts emergency departments and urgent care settings. Most recently, Dr. Cruz practiced as an Attending Physician at Winchester Hospital, and was the Treasurer and Director of Emergency Medicine Extenders at Winchester Emergency Medicine Associates.
