Men's Health: Symptoms of STDs in Men

Sexually transmitted diseases affect over 19 million people each year in the United States. Unfortunately, many fail to realize they have an STD before they spread it to a partner. Contrary to popular belief, STD symptoms aren't always noticeable, especially in men. Likewise, even when men do notice symptoms, they often mistake the cause for another health condition.

To prevent potentially fatal or life-altering consequences, it's important to seek treatment for an STD as soon as possible. To better assess your risk for infection, learn the symptoms associated with the most common sexually transmitted diseases.
