Last year, PhysicianOne Urgent Care awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from Brookfield High School, Glastonbury High School, Newtown High School, Norwich Free Academy, Norwalk High School, Pomperaug High School (Southbury/Middlebury) and Ridgefield High school who pursued a career in healthcare.

Brookfield High School
Scholarship Recipient Benjamin Morrison and Dr. Bernd Woerner
"My future goals are to complete nursing school and become a nurse anesthetist. This scholarship will go towards my education at Sacred Heart University."
Newtown High School

"I applied for the scholarship because I did an internship in the Brookfield location and loved the facilities and what the company stands for. My future goal in the healthcare industry is to become a pediatric nurse and care for children who have been hospitalized for various reasons."
