A senior woman holds a tablet in her hand, meeting with a doctor over telemedicine.

When you’re feeling under the weather, staying at home in your pajamas is typically the only thing you want to do. But you also want to feel better as quickly as possible, which is why you may need to see a doctor about your symptoms. Thankfully, with PhysicianOne Urgent Care’s Virtual Visits, you can receive the swift medical attention you need without leaving home! Telemedicine is a growing field and we’re proud to offer our patients in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, and surrounding communities the ability to connect with one of our experienced practitioners from home.

How It Works

Using our telemedicine service is easy! All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or webcam-enabled computer. Here’s what to do:

  • Click “Book a Virtual Visit” at the top of our homepage.
  • Click the Connecticut link on our Virtual Visits page.
  • From there, you will be directed to an appointment page. Select your preferred appointment time and then fill out our form, which includes stating your reason for the Virtual Visit.
  • After that, you’ll receive a link to a secure videoconferencing platform where the telemedicine appointment will take place.

Your Virtual Visit will be conducted by one of our medical practitioners who will learn about your symptoms and develop a treatment plan for you. They can even prescribe medication that can be sent to your nearest pharmacy for easy pick-up. In certain instances, however, the practitioner may recommend visiting our urgent care center for follow-up testing or treatment. If so, you’ll be pleased to know that our facility in Rocky Hill is open seven days per week with extended hours.

Schedule a telemedicine appointment with PhysicianOne Urgent Care today! We’ve got you.

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
