We've Got
You.

Skip the Wait!

We understand being sick or injured is not convenient. We know how hard it can be to fit in a visit when you’re busy with work, family and life in general, and we feel it is important to have choices when it comes to your healthcare options.

To help you feel better faster, we now offer eVisits*, a video visit option that connects you to one of our expert providers without the wait you may experience for an in-person visit.

Q: What is an eVisit?

A: A PhysicianOne Urgent Care eVisit is a patient-to-provider visit that utilizes a secure video conferencing platform, allowing you to be evaluated and treated in the center by a PhysicianOne Urgent Care provider.

Q: What injuries or illnesses can be evaluated and treated with an eVisit?

A: From the common cold to broken bones, our experienced providers can evaluate most of the same non-life threatening injuries or illnesses that would be treated during an in-center visit.

Q: Is an eVisit covered by insurance?

A. Yes! Commercial insurance carriers do cover eVisits at PhysicianOne Urgent Care. At this time, Medicare and Medicaid coverage do not cover an eVisit.

Q: What happens if I decide I want to see the provider in-center?

A: That is fine! You may decide to opt-out of the eVisit and be seen by a provider in the center at any point during the eVisit.

Would you like to learn more about our eVisit option? Please see a team member at the front desk when you check in and they will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

*eVisits are offered at PhysicianOne Urgent Care Connecticut locations, where and when available.

"The overall care I received was excellent! I also appreciate your affiliation with Yale New Haven Hospital."

Patient

"Throughout the visit I felt like the staff really cared. The Doctor took his time talking with me about my symptoms, and I felt like he listened to all my concerns and took that into consideration when recommending the right treatment. Thank you!"

Patient
Hamden, CT

"I had to take my son in for an ear infection following a sudden change in temperament at daycare. He was inconsolable the entire car ride but when we got there and by the time we left this care facility he was back to his normal happy go lucky little two year old boy. I highly recommend PhysicianOne Urgent Care."

Patient
Westwood, MA

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today."
