What Are the Symptoms of COVID-19?

Only a trained medical provider can diagnose you with COVID-19 and recommend a customized course of treatment.

With that said, common COVID-19 symptoms include coughing, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, fatigue, headache, body aches, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and a new loss of smell or taste.

COVID-19 Testing

Proudly Offering Numerous COVID-19 Testing Options

You should get tested if you’re experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, you’ve been exposed to the virus, or you’ll be in contact with a high-risk individual.

At PhysicianOne Urgent Care, we can administer rapid polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, rapid antigen tests, and antibody tests. One of our experienced providers can recommend the COVID-19 test that’s best suited to your specific needs. Notably, if you speak to a provider remotely and they recommend in-person COVID-19 testing, we’ll be sure to prioritize your test when you arrive at our local urgent care center.

COVID-19 Treatment

What if Your COVID-19 Test Comes Back Positive?

You can also rely on PhysicianOne Urgent Care for COVID-19 treatment services.

Our knowledgeable providers will recommend the COVID-19 treatment approach that’s most appropriate for your specific condition. All of our urgent care clinics are able to prescribe Paxlovid for qualifying patients, and our Connecticut locations are designated Test to Treat centers that can fill prescriptions on site.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the attention you gave me last week. My son was started on antibiotics and ear drops. Within 24 hours he began to feel better. The poor kid had been going to school in tears because he was afraid of missing any more days, but feeling (and looking) just awful! He's not been able to even think about lacrosse practice, but thanks to starting him on antibiotics, he was thrilled to return to practice today.
